Another Great Day! Vancouver salmon fishing report Sept. 20, 2013

Vancouver salmon fishing report

Vancouver salmon fishing report We have had multiple boats out the last few days and fishing has been fantastic!  There have been chinook, coho, pinks and chums down at Sandheads, chinook and coho at the T-10 and Bell Buoy, and more chinook and coho at the mouth of the Capilano River.  So if you have time for a 5 to 6 hour charter we have had consistent action only 2 minutes from our dock at the Capilano River Mouth, or if you want to make a full day of it, we can get you into some good numbers of fish at the Bell Buoy , T-10 and Sandheads which are 12, 25, and 45 minutes from the dock. Here is the Vancouver salmon fishing report…

Chinook Fishing is HOT!

The chinook fishing continues to be good to outstanding at the Bell Buoy, North Arm, T-10 and South Arm.  If you have some time to get out fishing or book a charter with us, I suggest  you do it now.  The big chinook are here with more on the way in the next two weeks. Vancouver Saltwater Salmon Fishing Report First off, Happy Canada everyone.  From the Pacific Angler Staff in the store and our saltwater guides we all hope you have a spectacular long weekend.  And there is no better way to celebrate Canada’s birthday than getting on the water and hooking into a few fish. Anyways, lets talk about the fishing.  So it appears that the Thrasher Rock/Nanaimo area is starting to slow down a little bit.  However, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear a couple of good reports either from our customers or other guides from Thrasher Rock.  So if you are thinking of heading out it is definitely a viable option. Here is your Vancouver salmon fishing report for June 29, 2012. Our guides and customers…

Vancouver Salmon Fishing Report, August 2010: Sockeye of the Century!

Vancouver salmon fishing report

Vancouver Saltwater Salmon Fishing Report First off… What a month! I begin with some apologies…sorry we’ve been delinquent with filing reports…we’ve all been so busy fishing and guiding that we’ve had next to NO TIME to do anything other than FISH! Here is your Vancouver salmon fishing report for August 31, 2010. The one word to sum our local fishery for the month of August is– simply AWESOME!  While we were awaiting the highly anticipated Sockeye Opening on August 8, we found that the stellar Coho (Silver) fishery from July (the best we had seen in 20 years locally)  was beginning to taper off. It had slowed from the fast and furious Coho action of July and we were down to a few bites each charter–and we had some great extended bites on some days but…
