Vancouver Winter Chinook Fishing Report:  January 31, 2025

It really is a winter report this week.  The forecast for the weekend and into the first few days of next week looks chilly with the daytime sub-zero temps making an appearance and some snow along with it.

We had quite a few trips planned that we postponed due to the weather.  We will take a short break in the coming days to let it warm up and get right back at it once the weather allows.  The good news is that once it warms up there will be plenty of eager fish around!

Fishing was awesome before the cold front moved in with sunny days and double headers!  We lost count at this day over in the Gulf Islands.

If you are looking to head out fishing with us in February, we are launching our annual Winter Chinook Special.  There is some fantastic winter chinook fishing and prawning to be had in February and March so take advantage of this special pricing and book a trip today.

                                                                                                 A winter double!

As you can see from the double header picture and pictures from previous reports, there are some nice fish around this year.  We will be watching the weather daily and can’t wait to get back out there!

Until then, stay warm, stay safe and we will see you in the shop or on the water.
