Information
Our rates are priced in Canadian Dollars and are based on the number of guests and the length of the charter. Rates do not include 5% GST (Goods & Service Tax), fishing licenses, or gratuities.

Once we are back on the dock we will clean and fillet your fish and package it for your transport home. Upon advanced request, we can also connect you with local companies who can further process your fish or package it for long range transport.
Booking Policy:
To book your trip give us a call and we will reserve your spot with a credit card number. A 50% deposit is required upon booking and the trip balance is due 2 days prior to the trip date. Deposits are refundable up to 3 (72hrs) days prior to trip date, after such time deposits are not refundable but may be transferred to alternate dates if a cancellation is necessary. Cancellations due to unsafe weather conditions are made at the discretion of Pacific Angler, at such time there is the option of a full refund or a reschedule.
Pacific Angler accepts payment by Debit, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.
Fishing Trips
Vancouver salmon fishing is productive all year round. With 5 species of Pacific salmon available in our waters, Pacific Angler always provides excitement! Along with the immediate local waters, which are only a short 10-20 minutes from our dock, Pacific Angler accesses a number of hot spots for our fishing trips throughout Georgia Straight and over in the Gulf Islands. This result is fantastic salmon fishing 12 months of the year!
5 Hour & 6 Hour Trips
These half day trips are the perfect option for guests looking to experience Vancouver from the water and get in some fishing just minutes from our dock. Depending on the season and year we have excellent fishing for chinook, coho, pinks and sockeye on 5 hour and 6 hour charters and expect to have your lines in the water within 10-20 minutes from leaving the dock.
8 Hour Trip
An 8 hour trip is a great option for those who are looking to enjoy a slightly longer day on the water or for those who just plain love to fish! This extra time ensures your guide has the time and range needed to take you to the best fishing grounds for chinook, coho, pinks and sockeye. It also allows time to change fishing spots once or twice if needed and gives the added benefit of fishing two tides. These subtle, but important facts can be the difference between good fishing and great fishing.
10 Hour Trip
If you and your crew are serious about catching fish, in particular big chinook, this is the trip for you. Although to some this might sound like a long time, the seasoned angler knows these trips go by incredibly fast once you are out on the water. During this time we will do whatever it takes to get you to the top producing salmon grounds and you will have the added bonus of fishing two tides. Our success rate on a 10 hour trip is very high and we have lots of time to drop crab traps and prawn traps in season, or do some fishing for lingcod and rock fish where permitted. Let our Grady Whites with twin Yamahas open up and take you out to the hot spots on a 10 hour charter, no limits, no fuel surcharge, just pure saltwater fishing at its finest.
Bowen Island Trips
We offer overnight and multi day fishing trips from Bowen Island. Imagine being whisked away for a day of fishing and returning to your oceanside cottage on Bowen Island to enjoy your catch and evening with your fishing partners. Your guides will pick you up the next day from Bowen Island for another exceptional day on the water and return you to our docks in Vancouver. These fishing trips are the ultimate way to enjoy salmon fishing in a relaxed manner as you enjoy “island life” and the fantastic fishing and tranquility if offers.
