"I just wanted to thank you again for taking us out on such a great fishing trip on Saturday. All of us had a blast! To catch 3 species of salmon and a bunch of other saltwater fish was awesome! Thanks for the great day and allowing us to stay out on the water longer than the usual 8 hours. The barbecue we had with pink salmon, coho salmon, and chinook salmon was delicious. This was a weekend that we will all remember for a long time."

"Ever fished in Vancouver, BC? Did you catch any fish? Was your guide knowledgeable? Did you feel like you were in good hands? I can honestly answer a resounding “YES” to all of these questions. I’m from Los Angeles and had to rely on a friend of a friend to get the inside skinny on Jason and his company, Pacific Angler. The word was they knew their stuff. Once we were aboard one of my buddies recognized the t-shirt the captain was wearing. It was a store where he had purchased some fly-fishing gear. My buddy fishes for stripers off the Atlantic coast. He knows his stuff. Anyway, the captain and him start talking about all things fish. That was good enough for me. It was such a magnificent day, what with the water as smooth as glass.

We headed for Vancouver Island. Jason, our captain had a pretty good feeling that we would be catching some Chinook that day. He did not disappoint. He knew right where to go. We wasted no time landing the first 15 lb. Spring and netted it into the boat. Jason was in contact with a couple of other “friendlies” on the water that helped us know when to move on or when to stay. This guy was connected. My involvement with a pole is a bit amateurish. I’ve been fishing, but on small lakes not oceans. Jason took care of everything. We all felt at ease. Isn’t that what you want after all? Heck, you bust your hump all week. Every once in a while, don’t you deserve to suck on a beer, smoke a stogy and hold a fishing pole in your hands? Of course you do. Well then get off your hinder, wrestle that phone out of your wife’s hand and give Jason a call. He loves fishing. He’ll be happy to show you his secret spots.
