Pacific Angler is offering a summer salmon special for the month of August. Book a full day charter for the month of August aboard the “Salty Dawg” and receive a 10 HR charter for the price of an 8 HR charter.
Summer has officially arrived and so have the Fraser River chinook salmon and celebration of lights. For the month of August, the Pacific Angler Salmon Guides will be focusing on the large chinook salmon completing their migration to the Fraser River.
The peak of the Fraser River chinook migration is the middle of August! The “Salty Dawg” still has great availability for this time period and throughout August.
August is the month to get your family, or friends on the water. This is one of our favourite times of the year to be on the water and consequently our busiest. The sun is out and the fish are happy. So make sure to call today to book your trip of the summer!
The Celebration of Lights is one of the biggest fireworks shows in the world and attracts up to 400,000 spectators. The first night of the show is next weekend! You can choose to combine fishing with the fireworks show or simply hire our boat and guide to take you out and experience this amazing show from the water. The dates & times are the following:
- Saturday July 28th – Vietnam (8PM to 11:30PM)
- Wednesday August 1st – Brazil (8PM to 11:30PM
- Saturday August 4th – Italy (8PM to 11:30PM)

Option #1: Up to 6 people for fireworks show only (8PM to 11:30PM), $550.00;
Option #2: Up to 6 people for a 5 hr charter & fireworks show (3PM to 11:30PM), $1000.00; or
Option #3: Up to 6 people for a 8 hr charter and fireworks show (12PM to 11:30PM), $1,250.00
